Student assistant in the area of institute management / innovation management of sustainable technical systems

The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics IAF is one of the world's leading research institutions in the fields of III/V semiconductors and synthetic diamond. Together with our partners from industry and science, we research and develop electronic, optoelectronic and quantum technological components and systems. The focus is on research and development for applications in the fields of security, health, energy, information and communication.
What you do with us
- During your work, you will help to set up a chair on the topics of innovation management, design and circularity of sustainable technical systems.
- To this end, you will conduct literature research on the topics and help to create exercises/exercise materials to accompany lectures.
- You will assist in the preparation of publications and presentations for the institute management and in the preparation of project reports.
- You will also take on administrative tasks (e.g. helping to organize, prepare and supervise work meetings).
- You will also assist with student workshops and exercises in the context of lectures and take on proofreading tasks.
- Your team is the interface between colleagues from the areas of administration, research, development and customers from various areas of politics, science and industry.
- You will help with the acquisition of third-party funding (EU, federal level, foundations, industry).
What you bring along

Your written and spoken German and English skills are very good (at least level C1).

You are an enrolled student (at least Master's level) with a Bachelor's degree in natural sciences, engineering, economics or similar.

You enjoy dealing with new topics and research tasks.

You are familiar with the common Office programs.

You are a flexible and independent organizational talent.

Ideally, you already have experience with innovation management, design and circularity of sustainable technical systems.
